THE FARM
The Il Gottino farm is a small family-run business that cultivates 12 hectares of vineyards located in the municipality of Santa Vittoria d’Alba.

The style of the Il Gottino farm is mainly based on the authenticity of the wines and their vintages, which are produced with an important eye on respect for nature.
we believe that the most important work in creating a wine is in “good” viticulture. The attention and maniacal care of the vineyards allows us to have a high-level raw material that can then be translated into a great wine.

Felice Dabbene
Felice Dabbene, born in 1958, current owner of the company in his cellar.
Umberto Dabbene
Umberto Dabbene, born in 1997, freshly graduated from the Oenological school of Alba, deals with the agronomic part.
Alessandro Dabbene
Alessandro Dabbene, born in 1994, after graduating in engineering cannot do without the passion for our work; now he takes care of the cellar and collaborates in the company.

The Il Gottino Farm is born
The Azienda Agricola Il Gottino was officially born on the basis of a few hectares of vineyards mainly suited to Arneis, Barbera and Nebbiolo.
1993
The first bottle
The first labeled bottle was born in 1993 with the first label.
2004
Our classic method is born
Thanks to Felice’s perseverance, after a scrupulous study of the method and thanks to the suggestions of very competent people close to the company, the first bottles are produced. Through the use of ancient and recycled equipment for several years we experiment the production of this type of wine to obtain, many years later, the right balance that characterizes the style chosen by Agricola Il Gottino.
2015
The Winebar opens in MIlan
The wine bar in Milan was born with the idea of bringing our products directly to the heart of Milan. Here our customers can feel transported from the city to our beautiful Roero hills.
2022
Rebranding
In this year we try to give a new dress to the Il Gottino farm, rejuvenating the company to face a constantly evolving market.
